Paul Volcker’s new book is a great and timely read on the quest for good governance globally. Volcker’s chapter about his appointment of Leonard McCarthy, the former head of the Scorpions in South Africa, as the World Bank’s leading anti corruption official in 2008 is a must read for South Africans.
